UFC President Dana White Left Off TIME’s “140 Best Twitter Feeds”

UFC President Dana White Left Off TIME’s “140 Best Twitter Feeds”

UFC President Dana White

Despite having nearly 1.4 million followers on Twitter, UFC president Dana White was inexplicably left off TIME’s exclusive “140 Best Twitter Feeds” list. TIME is currently allowing fans to vote on which celebrities are worth following.

White has long professed his undying love for Twitter, where he consistently updates his loyal following on the ins and outs of the Octagon. Not only has he used the blue bird to break news and squash ridiculous rumors, White has also teased fanboys with open-ended tweets in order to register unprecedented levels of hoopla.

“I usually don’t gauge things by the Internet; the Internet is [expletive] stupid. My Twitter I do,” White stated this past November. “On my Twitter, there are 1.2 million people that care about this thing and everything else, and you don’t get the goofy [expletive] that you get on the Internet.”

While White didn’t receive any props for his active involvement with this particular social network, he has recently gotten quite chummy with Facebook and their 500 million active users. The UFC has been streaming live preliminary fights on Facebook for the last several months.
