So I got the new iPhone and I can't stop playing games on it. Nobody told me it's just like a Game Boy. (Do they still make those?)
I downloaded the Guitar Hero app because Mark's boyfriend David is the head of Guitar Hero.
I initially did it to show my support and didn't think I'd ever play it, but now I can't stop. And, to make it worse, I call David and report to him whenever something goes wrong, so I'm sort of driving him crazy.
"Hi, David, it's Karyn. I can't connect to the Guitar Hero store to buy more songs."
"Hi, David, it's Karyn. I just got 95% on 'Another One Bites the Dust,' but I can't connect to Facebook to brag about my score."
Mark finally had to intervene. "Hun, you can't call the head of the company every time something goes wrong.�It's like you calling Steve Jobs every time your MacBook won't connect to the internet. David is not your tech support."
Whatever... he needs to know about those things. And you know, within minutes of me calling, these issues resolved themselves. So either I was in a place with better cell reception or David makes things happen—you decide.
Okay, I have to go now because I've gotten zero work done in the past few days. But before I do, did you know if you set your iPhone down and play Guitar Hero with your pointers it's kind of like you're playing the piano? Don't say I never taught you anything.
